Chandigarh held today Condolence meeting to pay homage to departed soul of Professor Upma Bagai,
Chairperson, Department of Zoology
who left for heavenly abode on September 8, 2018. Prof. Shankar Ji Jha, Dean University Instructions, Panjab University, Chandigarh in the meeting said that she was one of the respectable faculty member. She joined Panjab University as Research Scholar in 1991 and as Lecturer on 15thMay, 1998. She served the institute for 20 years. We pray to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss. Two minutes silence was observed in memory of the departed soul. Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Col. G.S.Chadha(Retd.), Registrar, Prof. Provender Singh, Controller of Examination and other faculty and staff members were present.
