A Female Helmet
Rally as part of 30 th Road Safety Week-2019 being Observed from 4 th to 10 th
February 2019 with a theme “Sadak Sureksha Jeevan Raksha ”. The Female Helmet
Rally was flagged off at 11.00 AM by Smt. Savita Bhatti w/o Late Sh. Jaspal
Singh Bhatti from MCM College, Sec-36, U.T., Chandigarh, wherein about 300
female two wheeler riders participated, which passed through various sectors of
U.T., Chandigarh to promote wearing of safety head gear by women while riding
on two wheelers. Sh. Shashank Anand, W/SSP/Security & Traffic along
with other Officers was also present there. Two hundred helmets were also
gifted to female riders for their participation for a noble cause.
