Kheri Gurna, Banur organized a one-day seminar to commemorate Guru Nanak Dev
Ji's 550th Birth Centenary. On this occasion, Professor Sarbjinder Singh,
Chairman of Guru Granth Sahib Studies of Punjabi University, Patiala and Bhai
Gurdas Chair, attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest. College
Principal, Dr. Sunil Kumar Baria, welcomed the eminent guests and applauded the
work done by them in foreign countries. He motivated the students to take
inspiration from them. Dr. Jaswinder Kaur informed the students about the
teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Professor Sarbjinder Singh ji shared
his experiences with the students and told them about the importance of Guru
Nanak Bani. He said that in order to improve the condition in today's
society, there is a need to seek guidance from Guru Nanak Bani. He motivated
the students to do their work with utmost sincerity and dedication and seek the
blessings of divine power in fulfilling that work. Principal of the College, Dr.
Sunil Kumar Baria ji honoured the guests on behalf of the college management and
staff. Organizer of the event Dr. Jaswinder Kaur presented a vote of
thanks to the guests.Prof. NP Manocha, Dr. Kiran Dutt, Dr. Maninder Kaur, Dr.
Shivani Koshal and Dr. Lakhwinder Kaur also attended the function.The
celebration was closed with the recitation of national anthem.
