3 ACCUSED ARRESTED BY CHANDIGARH POLICE

a quarrel took
place near dumping ground and the patient namely Rehman was unfit to make
statement. In this regard on 4.04.19 the mother of Rehman (victim) namely
Imrana w/o Munnavar R/o H. No. 996/2, DMC, Chandigarh gave a written complaint
and she reported that she is running a Rehri/Fadhi of Samosas near park DMC. On
03.04.19, when she was present near her Rehri then some person has intimated
her that some boys are beating her son Rehman near wall of dumping ground DMC.
Upon this, she reached there and found that boys namely Rishabh, Sahil and their
6-7 associates were beating her son Rehman with sticks/rods and her son fallen down
but the said boys didn’t stop. Meanwhile, peoples gathered there and the above said
boys fled away from the spot. Police vehicle also reached at the spot and
brought her son in PGI where he is still under treatment and he is not fit to
make statement. In this regard, a Case FIR No. 49 dated 5.4.19 U/s
147,148,149,307 IPC has been registered at PS-Maloya and during the
investigation accused Rishab S/o Ram Sawroop R/o H. No. 687, DMC, Chandigarh,
age 19 years, Sahil S/o Late Balwinder R/o H. No. 36, DMC, Chandigarh, age 19
years & Raja S/o Vinod R/o H. No. 321, DMC, Chandigarh, age 19 years
have been arrested. Today they have been produced before the Court and they
have been sent to judicial custody. Further, more efforts are being made
to trace the remaining accused.
