 Aam Aadmi Party has accused Congress minister and candidate from Ludhiana West Bharat Bhushan Ashu of making big bucks in the ration distribution in Ludhiana. On Thursday, senior AAP leaders Malvinder Singh Kang, Harchand Singh Barsat and Ludhiana West candidate Gurpreet Singh Gogi presented evidence in front of the media by holding a press conference and said that Bharat Bhushan Ashu, while being a minister in the Congress government, had duped crores of rupees from government exchequer in food distribution scheme, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anaj Yojana and in buying and selling crops in the mandis. Kang said that Bharat Bhushan Ashu, misusing his position, sold the ration meant for poor and needy people to other states by giving the responsibility of food department to already under inquiry officer. Kang expressed surprise that according to the rules of the Central Government, there is a provision to distribute ration after seeing the ration card and with thumb print through biometric. It takes at least 10 minutes to complete the process of giving ration to one person. But according to the document Ashu and his corrupt officials distributed 24000 kg ration to the ration card holders of the same series in 9 hours. He questioned that how can it be possible that all the people in the ration queue had the same series of ration cards?  Kang said that Congress minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu had biometric machine in his custody and stored government ration to sell it in the other states. This was executed with the connivance of Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu and his associates. There should be a high level inquiry into this matter and the culprits should be given strict punishment. He appealed to the people of Ludhiana West not to vote for the corrupt leader and thief, who stole your ration and filled his own pockets.

ज़ी5 ने हाल ही में पंजाबी जगत के विषयों के लिए 'रज्ज के वेखो' अभियान की शुरुआत की जो ज़ी स्टूडियोज के थियेटर से सीधे शीर्षकों का प्रीमियर करने का वादा करता है। राजू चड्ढा व विजय दत्ता खोसला द्वारा निर्मित, और दिलप्रीत ढिल्लों और मैंडी तखर की नवीनतम फिल्म 'मेरा व्याह करा दो' दर्शकों का मनोरंजन करने के लिए पूरी तरह तैयार है। फिल्म का लेखन और निर्देशन सुनील खोसला ने किया है, जिन्होंने फिल्म की पटकथा भी लिखी है। फिल्म में दिलप्रीत ढिल्लों और मैंडी तखर के अलावा होबी धालीवाल, रूपिंदर रूपी, सनी गिल, संतोष मल्होत्रा, विजय टंडन, रेणु मोहाली, गोनी सागू और परमिंदर गिल भी हैं। फिल्म का संगीत जेएसएल, गुरमीत सिंह, गुरमोह, शमिता भटकर और सुनील खोसला ने दिया है। फिल्म के गानों को आवाज़ मशहूर सिंगर ज्योति नूरां, मन्नत नूर, शिप्रा गोयल, गुरमीत सिंह, अभिजीत वघानी, वज़ीर सिंह और विभा ने दी है। फिल्म नूर नाम की एक लड़की के बारे में है, जो 30 साल की होने से पहले एक वैवाहिक साइट पर अपने लिए एक उपयुक्त वर खोजने की कोशिश करती है जिसपर उसे आसानी से एक आदर्श जोड़ीदार नहीं मिलता। इसी लिए वह अपनी जीवन शैली बदल देती है और अपनी साइट पर नई तस्वीरें लगाकर अपनी छवि पेश करती है। उसकी नई छवि उसकी मदद तो करती है, लेकिन उसके जीवन में आपदा का कारण भी बन जाती है, जब उसके घर की देहलीज़ पर तीन लड़के बारात लेकर खड़े हो जाते हैं। अब यह देखना दिलचस्प होगा कि नूर तीनों में से किसे चुनेंगी और क्या यह चुनाव उनके लिए आसान होगा या उसे और मुश्किलों का सामना करना पड़ेगा। फिल्म के बारे में बात करते हुए, फिल्म के निर्माताओं ने कहा, "हम बहुत उत्साहित हैं कि 'मेरा व्याह कारा दो' का प्रीमियर ज़ी5 पर होगा और 190+ देशों में सभी पंजाबी दर्शकों तक पहुंचेगा जो एक शानदार प्रदर्शन के साथ सभी परिवारों को मनोरंजित करेगा। हमें यकीन है की यह फिल्म 'निश्चित रूप से दर्शकों का मनोरंजन करेगी और उन्हें संतुष्ट कराएगी।" फिल्म के निर्देशक सुनील खोसला ने भी अपनी खुशी और उत्साह को साझा करते हुए कहा, "यह एक अद्भुत कहानी है जिसे फिल्म के सभी कलाकारों ने बखूबी निभाया है। हमने निश्चित रूप से इस फिल्म को बनाने में कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ी है ताकि हम एक उच्च गुणवत्ता वाली फिल्म पेश कर सकें। इस फैमिली ड्रामा के लिए दर्शकों की प्रतिक्रिया देखकर हम बहुत खुश हैं।" अब देखिए ज़ी 5 की अपनी फिल्म 'मेरा व्याह करा दो'।

आम आदमी पार्टी(आप) पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री पद के उम्मीदवार भगवंत मान ने अकाली दल और बादल परिवार पर जमकर हमला बोला। मान ने बादल परिवार पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा कि कुछ स्वार्थी नेताओं ने सत्ता में बैठकर पूरे पंजाब में नशा का अवैध कारोबार चलाया और नशा माफिया के साथ मिलीभगत कर पंजाब के लाखों नौजवानों का जीवन बर्बाद कर दिया। इन स्वार्थी नेताओं ने पैसा कमाने के लिए लाखों माताओं का बेटा छीन लिया और लाखों परिवार तबाह किए। इस बार पंजाब के लोग नशा बेचने वालों को सबक सिखाएंगे।  वीरवार को भगवंत मान ने संगरुर के विभिन्न हलकों में 'आप' उम्मीदवारों के पक्ष में चुनाव प्रचार किया। यहां उन्होंने दिरबा विधानसभा क्षेत्र में हरपाल सिंह चीमा, लहरा से आप उम्मीदवार बरिंदर कुमार गोयल और सुनाम से विधायक और उम्मीदवार अमन अरोड़ा के लिए प्रचार किया और लोगों से सभी 'आप' उम्मीदवारों को भारी बहुमत से जीताकर पंजाब में आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार बनाने की अपील की। लोगों को संबोधित करते हुए मान ने काग्रेस सरकार पर भी हमला बोला। उन्होंने कहा कि पिछले चुनाव में कांग्रेस ने पंजाब के लोगों से चार हफ्ते में नशा खत्म करने का वादा किया था, लेकिन सत्ता में आने के बाद नशा माफियाओं को सरकारी संरक्षण दिया। सत्ता में बैठे नेताओं और नशा माफिया की सांठगांठ के कारण आज पूरे पंजाब में हर जगह धरल्ले से चिट्टा और अन्य धातक नशीले पदार्थ मिल रहे हैं। नशा का अवैघ कारोबार करने वाले बेखौफ अपना धंधा चला रहे है। उन्हें पुलिस-प्रशासन का कोई डर नहीं है, क्योंकि उन्हें सत्ता का संरक्षण प्राप्त है। नशा माफिया और सत्ताधारी नेताओं का नेक्सस बना हुआ है। इस नेक्सस ने पंजाब के नौजवानों के हाथ से कलम-किताब छीनकर चिट्टा पकड़ा दिया और लाखों परिवारों का जीवन तबाह कर दिया।  मान ने लोगों से आम आदमी पार्टी का समर्थन करने की अपील की और कहा कि नशा माफिया को पंजाब अब और नहीं झेल सकता। इस बार हमारे पास मौका है, नशा बेचने वालों को सबक सिखाने का। इस बार मौका है नौजवनों को नशे के दलदल से निकालकर अच्छी शिक्षा और रोजगार देने का। इस बार मौका है माताओँ का बेटा बचाने का। हमें सिर्फ एक मौका दीजिए। हम इन स्वार्थी नेताओं और नशा माफिया के नापाक सांठगांठ को खत्म करेंगें। पंजाब से नशा तस्करी पूरी तरह खत्म कर नौजवानों को नशे के दलदल से निकालेंगे एवं उन्हें अच्छी शिक्षा और रोजगार देंगे।

बुधवार को दो मौतों सहित 57 कोविड मामले सामने आए। पोस्टग्रेजुएट इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मेडिकल एजुकेशन एंड रिसर्च (पीजीआई) में सेक्टर 38 वेस्ट निवासी 59 वर्षीय कोविड पॉजिटिव महिला की मौत हो गई। उसे लिंफोमा हो गया था और उसे कोविड के लिए पूरी तरह से टीका लगाया गया था। एक अन्य निवासी सेक्टर 51 निवासी 47 वर्षीय कोविड पॉजिटिव पुरुष था, जिसकी पीजीआई में मृत्यु हो गई। उन्हें गुर्दे की बीमारी और जिगर की बीमारी थी और जटिलताओं के साथ उनका टीकाकरण नहीं हुआ था। एक दिन के भीतर सकारात्मकता दर लगभग दोगुनी होकर 1.44% से 2.33% हो गई। वेंटिलेटर पर रहने वालों की संख्या घटकर 10 हो गई है, जबकि 34 मरीज ऑक्सीजन सपोर्ट पर हैं। बुधवार को ठीक होने वालों की संख्या को 89,863 तक ले जाते हुए 121 मरीजों को छुट्टी दे दी गई। पुष्टि किए गए मामले 91,454 हैं जिनमें 1,156 मौतें शामिल हैं जबकि सक्रिय मामले 435 हैं। जबकि शहर में पूरी वयस्क आबादी को कोविड के खिलाफ पूरी तरह से टीका लगाया गया है, कॉमरेडिडिटी वाले 89% बुजुर्गों को बूस्टर शॉट्स दिए गए हैं और 15 -17 वर्ष की आयु वर्ग के बीच 80% को पहली खुराक दी गई है।

Drug Disposal Committee (DDC) of Chandigarh Police under Chairmanship of SP Crime, Manoj Kumar Meena, comprising DSP Crime and Narcotics Control Bureau officer has disposed-off the contraband drugs of 838NDPS Act cases of all 16 Police Stations of Chandigarh Police in which large quantity of Cocaine, Heroin, Charas, Puppy Husk, Ganja, Smack, Doda, Intoxicant Injections, tablets, Powder & Capsules were seized. On 04.02.2022, during the pre-drug disposal meeting, after checking the muds and papers of 838 NDPS Act cases, DDC found it fit for disposal and same was disposed-of on 08.02.2022 by adopting all legal process. The drugs were disposed-off at M/s Rainbow Environments Pvt Limited, 1139, Sector-69, Mohali, Punjab through incinerator installed in the firm. The mandatory drug disposal process requirements were complied with by the Drug Disposal Committee. The name and quantity of drugs approximately as under:-

This is the biggest drug disposal process in Chandigarh Police ever made by Drug Disposal Committee (DDC) as well as 4^th Drug Disposal during last 06 months i.e., on 04.08.2021, 14.09.2021, 30.12.2021 and now on 08.02.2022.
