ENGLISH COMMUNICATION BRIDGE COURSE STARTS IN HOME SCIENCE COLLEGE

As an initiative towards enhancement of
Soft Skills and English Communication among students, free “English
Communication Bridge Course” started in Home Science College today. The course
is organized by the placement cell in collaboration with Regional Centre for
Entrepreneurship Development (RCED). Prof Nirmal Dutt with an experience of
more than 35 years in teaching English language in D.A.V. College, Chandigarh,
will be mentoring the classes. Principal Prof. Sudha Katyal welcomed Professor
Nirmal Dutt and addressed the students, motivating them to participate in such
course. The course content included Grammar and Vocabulary, Skills in
Listening, Reading and Writing the English Language, Improving pronunciation
and construction of sentences. The course witnessed a huge response from Under
Graduate and Post Graduate college and resident students. Exercises given by
Prof. Dutt made the workshop more interesting and stimulating.
Certificates will be given to all participants on successful completion of the
course.
