15 years of excellence celebrated at Kids ‘R’ Kids School

Kids ‘R’ Kids School, Sector 42-C, Chandigarh celebrated  15 years of excellence in education with back to back programmers for the parents of the Middle School students titled The Riddle of Time, taking the audience through the paradox of history. History repeats itself and the students decided to relate present day problems like violence, corruption, deforestation, destruction by relating them with similar problems that will faced during Ashoka’s time. The riddle of history was unveiled as to how the earth corrects itself after destruction and survives. The need to preserve and save the planet was highlighted with dance performances of various age groups. These included the Bhoomi Mangalam, the Garland dance, the Peacock and Tap dances, the Zombie and the Earth dances etc.  Parents were elated not only by seeing their children on stage but also in the newly inaugurated multipurpose hall with the state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment. A Hindi play entitled Andhvishwas showcased the irrelevance of superstition in our lives. The importance of the parent child connection was also highlighted. Creativity through all these eras was beautifully depicted. A professional edudrama group had children perform The Snake Charmer to the delight of the audience.The shows were live and nothing was pre-recorded. Children played various instruments live like the recorder, a beat box, shakers and tambourines. They also sang their favourite songs from this session like ‘Welcome to the Family, ‘May life in this World’. The Director Principal Anupam Grewal inaugurated the multipurpose hall and shared an insight on the latest trends in education being followed in school every day. She also highlighted the importance of keeping the students engaged effectively.  All the parents and guests appreciated the efforts put in by the management, staff and students to display the outstanding work. The programme concluded with everyone taking a pledge to save the earth.
