A delegation of Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) under
the leadership of Dr. Anshu Kataria, President, PUCA met Sh. Vijay Sampla,
Minister for Social Welfare and appealed for the early release of pending 1700
Crore of Post Matric Scholarship (PMS). S. Nirmal Singh, ETT Federation; Mr.
Jasnik Singh, B.Ed. Association were also present during the meeting. Vijay Sampla while interacting
with the delegation said that Centre Govt is waiting for the compiled audit
reports from the State Govt. As soon as the State will send the clearance
reports the next installment from centre govt would be released. Meanwhile Kataria urged State
& Centre Govt to resolve the matter at earliest so that Unaided Colleges
could be bailed out from Financial Crisis.
