The Department of Music, Panjab University,
Chandigarh celebrated Basant Utsav and Saraswati Poojan with great
enthusiasm. On this occasion Pt. Manu Kumar Seen (Sitarist,
Jalandhar) & Pt. Yashpaul (Chandigarh) and the students of the Department performed
seasonal raag BASANT. Dr. M.P. Sharma, Sh. Anil Kumar Sharma, Mr. Rakesh
Kumar and Mr. Rajneesh Dhiman done wonderful accompaniment on tabla
& harmonium. On this occasion Prof. Raj Kumar Vice Chancellor &
Dean of University Instructions Prof. Shankar Ji Jha were present.Dr.
Neelam Paul, Chairperson of Department of Music, PU thanked all the teachers,
students & guest artists.
