PGGC 11 felicitates youth festival achievers

Young achievers in different categories of events at the
recently concluded Zonal youth festival, held at SD College were honoured by
the Principal Prof Rama Arora at PGGC 11today. The college won 1st prize in
Bhajan, Classical Vocal , Kavishri, Vaar singing ,Percussion, One act play,
Skit,poem writing and Mehndi designing. Second prize was bagged in folk song,
group singing, Kali singing, kavishri ,non percussion, one act play
(individual) mimicry, mime, essay writing and embroidery, (cross
stitch.)The college teams won 3rd prize in the following items Bhajan(individual)
Gazal roup singing (individual) Folk instrument Skit (individual)
On the spot painting Still life drawing Giddha Ladies traditional
songs Mitti de khidone Bhangra Folk dance (luddi) Coordinator
Cultural Events ,Dr H.S.Dhanoa informed that it was first time when college
won total of 32 prizes at Zonal Youth Festuval.Principal Prof Rama Arora
congratulated the winners and their mentors and wished them good luck in all
future endeavours.
