ORGANIZED A CONDOLENCE MEETING FOR THE MARTYRS OF PULWANA ATTACK

BJP Chandigarh organized a condolence meeting
for the martyrs of Pulwana attack in Jammu and Kashmir. BJP Chandigarh State
President Sanjay Tandon, MP Kiron Kher, BJP Chandigarh Vice President Rambir
Bhatti and Ramlal, Gen. Secretary Chander Shekhar, district presidents, and
other party workers were present on the occasion. Giving information about the
event media in charge Ravinder Pathania said Sanjay offered the flowers in
tribute of the martyrs. Sanjay addressed the gathered public and said that
every citizen of the country is anguished by the ghastly Pulwama attack in
which over 40 CRPF personnel were martyred. He further said, that where
everyone is talking of avenging the death of our martyrs Congress party’s
minister Navjot Singh Sidhu is defending Pakistan. Navjot has failed to
acknowledge the supreme sacrifice these soldiers have made for our country. He
said, Navjot should understand that this is not comedy circus were he can say
anything and get away with it. The public of country will never forgive him for
his statements. Capt. Amrinder Singh chief Minister of Punjab should expel him
from his cabinet and he should not know that he should not even be an MLA. He further added that there is great anger in
the people of our country against Pakistan for this dastardly act they have
undertaken through their proxies. He said, the government of India will not
tolerate this anymore and an appropriate response will be given to all
perpetrators of this heinous terror attack against India. Kiron Kher also
addressed the public and called the attack a cowardly effort by Pakistan. She
said Pakistan has crossed all limits of cruelty and violence. She said,
government has taken back all privileges including security cover of all
separatists in Kashmir Valley. Chander Shakhar also addressed the public and
appealed to people that we should as true citizens of the country boycott
anyone who supports enemies of our nation. While soldiers make supreme
sacrifices at the border it is our duty as citizen to support them. He said, we
should stop all business transactions with Pakistan and China to curb these
nations from supporting terrorist activities against our country. Other BJP
leaders present at the meeting included councillor Shakti Parkash Devshali,
Jagtar Singh Jagga, Ravikant Sharma, Anil Dubey, Vinod Aggarwal, Mahesh Sidhu,
Hira Negi, Rajbala Malik, and Haji Khurshid Mohammad.
