2024 in a highly awaited event, Bhavan Vidyalaya New
Chandigarh organized the Draw of Lots ceremony for Pre-Nursery admissions for
the academic session 2024-25. Mrs. Vineeta Arora, Director
Education cum Senior Principal, Ms. Inderpreet Kaur, Principal, Bhavan
Vidyalaya new Chandigarh, Ms. Kunika Sharma, Principal, Junior Wing Sector 33, and Ms. Ramneek Kaur Malhotra, Vice Principal Bhavan
Vidyalaya New Chandigarh presided over the ceremony. The ceremony was also
attended by Dr. Kumar Rajnikant, Parent Member of the School Managing Committee
of the school. The draw of lots was conducted virtually, with 20
parents witnessing the proceedings offline from the school premises. Conducted
transparently and fairly, the school ensured the virtual presence of other
applicant parents through a YouTube Live link shared prior on the school website.
The school emphasized inclusivity, provided seat allocation details, and
outlined the draw of lots procedure for all the categories. The meticulous draw
of lots resulted in the announcement of selected candidates, reinforcing the
school, commitment to equal educational opportunities and principles of equity.
Parents were happy with the transparent and impartial admissions process, and
